Mobile pellet heating

A viable alternative for heating construction sites.
Efficient, environmentally friendly and practical

Mobile pellet heating systems are a viable alternative to fuel oil for heating construction sites, greenhouses, and event sheds.

Respect for the environment even during the construction phase

To date, the most popular fuel for heating construction sites is naphtha. This mode of heating, however, clashes with new environmental protection requirements such as those for groundwater protection. This often leads to an incompatibility between the company's desire to construct buildings that follow current SIA standards for energy efficiency and the construction of the building itself.
Already two cantons have banned oil heating, these being Canton Geneva and Canton Basel-Stadt; a decision that should lead to appropriate consideration of the issue for the whole of Switzerland.

A modular system to avoid waste

Mobile pellet heating is modular, which allows the number of modules to be adapted to the progress of the construction site. This therefore results in greater efficiency and cost savings, compared with the use of a single large unit.

Examples of the use of mobile pellet heating

The "Greencity" in Zurich: a "green" neighborhood right from the construction site
Greencity is a redevelopment project of a former industrial area in Zurich, here Losinger Marazzi AG is constructing a total of 13 buildings that will house 731 apartments, offices, commercial and service areas, and a school. The district is conceived and designed with total respect for the environment, with low-energy buildings. Therefore, even the heating during the construction phase could only be environmentally friendly with pellet heating modules that guarantee the work even during the winter, but always in full compliance with the principles with which the entire project was conceived.

World Economic Forum: domes heated with pellets
During the WEF in Davos, there is a serious problem of indoor space. Therefore, large tents are resorted to, and among these are the domes operated by India Zelt & Event AG, which since the last edition has decided to replace oil heating with pellet heating. A choice, theirs, dictated by the search for consistency with what is discussed during this important event that sees world political and economic figures gather around issues such as health and the environment.
The successful deployment in Davos shows the high performance of this pellet heating system even in really harsh weather conditions.
